Introduction
Maa Kamakhya Sansthan Foundation ("MKSF", "we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
Data we collect
- Donor data: name, email, phone, address, PAN (for 80G), donation amount and payment metadata.
- Volunteer data: name, contact, skills, availability, ID for verification.
- Website data: anonymous analytics (page views, referrer, device class).
How we use it
- Process donations and issue statutory 80G receipts and tax certificates.
- Coordinate volunteer placements and event registration.
- Send programme updates and receipts (opt-in for marketing).
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share strictly with our payment processor, tax authorities (as required by law), and cloud infrastructure providers under confidentiality.
Your rights under DPDP Act
- Access, correction, and erasure of your data.
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.

Retention
Financial records are retained per Income Tax Act (minimum 8 years). Marketing data is retained only while consent is active.
